Return & Refund Policy

Code24x7 Private Limited ('Code24x7') is a private limited company registered in India under the Companies Act, 2013. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for our services. Since we primarily provide digital services and custom development work, traditional product returns are not applicable. However, this Policy explains our refund eligibility criteria, process, and timelines. Please read this Policy carefully, as refund availability depends on the type of service, timing, and specific circumstances.

Introduction

This Return and Refund Policy ('Policy') applies to all products and services provided by Code24x7 Private Limited ('we', 'us', 'our', or 'Company'), a private limited company registered in India under the Companies Act, 2013.

This Policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds may be issued for our services. This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions, Cancellation Policy, and Service Agreements.

Given that we primarily provide digital services and custom development work, traditional 'returns' are not applicable in most cases. However, this Policy explains when refunds may be available and how they are processed.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be available under the following circumstances:

  • Service Cancellation: As per our Cancellation Policy, refunds may be available for cancelled services based on completion status and timing
  • Service Non-Delivery: If we fail to deliver agreed services within the specified timeframe due to our fault
  • Service Defects: If delivered services do not meet the specifications agreed upon in your Service Agreement
  • Duplicate Payment: If you are charged multiple times for the same service

Services Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds are generally not available for:

  • Services that have been fully delivered and accepted by you
  • Change of mind or business requirements after service commencement
  • Third-party service failures beyond our control
  • Delays due to your failure to provide required information or cooperation
  • Services custom-developed to your specifications

Custom Development Services

For custom development projects (web development, mobile apps, software development):

  • Refund Window: Refund requests must be made within 48 hours of project initiation, before substantial work has been completed
  • Partial Refunds: If more than 48 hours have passed, partial refunds may be considered based on:
  • • Percentage of work completed
  • • Resources already expended
  • • Deliverables already provided
  • Completion-Based: Once a project is 50% or more complete, no refunds will be issued; payment for all completed work is due
  • Quality Issues: If delivered work does not meet agreed specifications, we will first attempt to remedy the issues. Refunds will only be considered if remediation is not possible or you decline remediation
  • Request Process: All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@code24x7.com with detailed justification

Subscription and Recurring Services

For ongoing subscription services (monthly/annual maintenance, hosting, support):

  • Pro-Rated Refunds: For annual subscriptions cancelled mid-term, pro-rated refunds are available for unused months minus applicable administrative fees
  • Current Period: No refunds are provided for the current billing period upon cancellation; services continue until the end of the paid period
  • First 7 Days: Subscriptions cancelled within the first 7 days are eligible for a full refund minus processing fees
  • Renewal Cancellation: You may cancel renewal at any time before the renewal date to avoid future charges
  • Service Suspension: If services are suspended due to non-payment, no refunds are provided for the suspension period

Digital Products and Downloads

For digital products, templates, and downloadable content:

  • Final Sale: Most digital products are sold on a final sale basis due to the nature of digital content
  • Technical Issues: Refunds may be available if the product is defective, non-functional, or does not match the description
  • Download Access: Refunds are generally not available once the product has been downloaded
  • Review Period: Please review product descriptions, demos, and specifications before purchase
  • Licensing: Digital product licenses are non-transferable and non-refundable once activated

Consulting and Advisory Services

For consulting, advisory, and one-time consultation services:

  • Advance Notice: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled session receive a full refund
  • Short Notice: Cancellations made 24-48 hours before the session receive a 50% refund
  • Same Day: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session or no-shows receive no refund
  • Completed Sessions: No refunds are provided for completed consulting sessions
  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule without penalty if done at least 48 hours in advance

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Provide Information: Include the following in your request:
  • • Your full name and contact information
  • • Service reference number or invoice number
  • • Detailed reason for refund request
  • • Relevant documentation (if applicable)
  • • Preferred refund method

  • Response: We will respond with our decision and next steps
  • Appeal: If your request is denied, you may appeal with additional information

Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved:

  • Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 10-15 business days from approval
  • Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction
  • Bank Transfers: Bank transfers may take an additional 5-10 business days
  • Processing Fees: Some payment methods may have processing fees that cannot be refunded
  • Currency: All refunds are processed in Indian Rupees (INR)
  • Exchange Rates: For international payments, refunds are processed at the exchange rate applicable at the time of refund
  • Confirmation: You will receive email confirmation once the refund is processed

Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider:

  • Communication: Please contact us first to discuss the issue; we can often resolve matters without chargebacks
  • Service Suspension: Chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of services
  • Investigation: We will investigate the chargeback and provide evidence to the payment provider
  • Resolution: If the chargeback is found in your favor, refunds will be processed accordingly
